The best way of finding college scholarships in this day and age is on the Internet. With scholarship databases, you fill in your personal criteria and only scholarships that fit your profile will be retrieved.

  • The largest, fastest, most accurate scholarship database is FastWeb.com. This site is also the most frequently updated database featuring the most recent college scholarships being offered. Once you put in your profile and enter your email address, FastWeb will notify you when new college scholarships that match your profile are added to their database. It doesn't take much time to search this database and best of all, it's free!

  • Along with FastWeb, you should at least search one other scholarship database. A good starting point is College Scholarships. You will find some overlap, but usually there will be a few scholarships in each database not listed anywhere else.
